I found this pattern on the internet and had to try it. These are so easy and quick to make. The pattern was for a 17" square but I needed a bigger one and did 20" so that a rectangle dish will fit in it. Love how they turned out.

Doggie Totes

These are dog food bags that I made into totes. These bags had such awesome pictures on them that I had to do something with them. I will also have cat and bird bags and whatever else is brought to me. Each bag sells for $5, which the money will go to the Animal Shelter. I will be displaying them at the Animal Shelter for anyone to purchase.

Thrift Store Find

This is what I found at the Thrift store for a couple of dollars.

This is what I turned it into. I love, love, love it!! All I had to do was glue the glass under the plate and let it dry really good and than put the dome cover on top and "ta da" you have a mini cake stand.

Another three pairs of boxers for my grandson, Mason. My niece, Brenda Steiner, gave me the new name for them and I love it. The name fits them perfect so now I have to make up some new labels for them. Mason's going to have a pair for every day of the year at the rate I'm making these. They are so much fun to make and quick to sew up. The best part about these is the fabrics that you can use for these.

Wow, I cannot believe I am doing this. Where do I start and what do I say? I have always wanted to do a website or blog but didn't know where to begin.
I have been a seamstress for most of my life. Sewing is my passion and sewing for my grandkids, because they love what I make them, is my favorite thing to do. I am also a quilter, but don't do it all the time since it is very time consuming; however, extremely rewarding. I enjoy doing projects that I can finish quickly so I can admire the results.
